1MW Indoor Expansion: Five 20-Slot Avalon Racks in Southeast Asia

Project Description

Deploying our avalon hydro rack in an indoor 1-to-5 configuration allowed a facility in Southeast Asia to scale a 100-unit Avalon A1566HA cluster. With warehouse floor space at a premium, the site operator wanted to expand computing density without cluttering the aisle with multiple separate pump skids. We supplied five 20-slot racks driven by a single 1MW centralized pumping loop.

The mechanical layout centers on a high-flow CDU linked to the five racks through curved stainless jumper lines. Beside the plumbing sits a standalone electrical cabinet housing all breakers, meters, and switchgear. Keeping high-voltage circuits physically isolated from the fluid lines provides a safer workspace for technicians during daily electrical checks.

The 100-miner Avalon facility reached full operation in three weeks. The centralized CDU maintains steady, identical water pressure across all five racks, eliminating pressure drop across the entire 100-machine line and giving the on-site crew a clean, organized layout that easily handles 2U hardware.
