Two 20-Slot Avalon Hydro Cooling Racks Deployed in Muscat

Project Description
Deploying our avalon hydro cooling rack across two independent circuits gave an Oman facility in Muscat a redundant 400kW setup for Avalon A1566HA miners. Operating in high desert heat, linking all machines to a single shared loop risked total downtime during pump servicing. The operator deployed two standalone 200kW units to house 40 miners.
Each 20-slot rack runs on a separate 1-to-1 loop. Two standalone CDU skids sit beside the cabinets, each equipped with a blue plate heat exchanger, expansion vessel, and control box. Flexible stainless lines connect each skid to its rack and exterior dry cooler, creating two completely isolated fluid circuits.
The dual-circuit layout gives the facility full mechanical redundancy. Technicians can flush filters or service pumps on one rack while the adjacent unit continues hashing at full 200kW load. This physical separation eliminates full-site shutdowns, allowing the Muscat facility to run 40 Avalon hydro miners with minimal maintenance interruptions.
