5-Unit 120-Slot Whatsminer Hydro Container Array in Dallas

Project Description

Located on a gravel yard bordering a commercial retail zone in Dallas, this 6MW site utilizes 5 mobile whatsminer hydro container units. Each 20-foot enclosure and paired dry cooler sit on flatbed trailer chassis supported by cinder-block cribbing, eliminating permanent concrete foundation work on the leased property.

The installation supports 600 Whatsminer 2U units through factory-fitted internal racks and circulation pumps. Flexible stainless steel lines connect each container to its dedicated trailer cooler, transferring machine heat into a closed liquid circuit and eliminating high-speed exhaust fans near adjacent commercial properties.

The facility went online immediately upon electrical tie-in. Operating closed water loops yielded a twenty-eight percent cooling efficiency gain, lowering site power costs by twenty-three percent and producing $850,000 in annual operational savings.
