Twelve 308-Slot Bitmain ANTSPACE HD5 Containers Operating in Phoenix

Project Description

Deploying our Bitmain antspace hd5 container allowed a commercial operator in Phoenix, Arizona, to build an 18MW facility under strict city water-use restrictions. Because municipal regulations ban evaporative cooling towers in the desert basin, the site required 100% waterless operation. We delivered 12 units of the 1.5MW 40HQ model to house Antminer S21 Hydro miners.

Each 308-slot container features an integrated closed-loop dry cooler mounted directly on the 40-foot roof. Stacking the cooling decks above the container chassis eliminated separate radiator yards, fitting all 12 units onto a concrete apron. Coolant circulates through sealed finned coils, rejecting heat without evaporating water or requiring utility top-off connections.

The 18MW facility was energized across eight weeks following transformer pad hookups. Operating completely water-free, the closed-circuit system keeps chip temperatures within nominal limits across the entire S21 Hydro fleet, allowing the operator to maintain continuous multi-megawatt mining operations in compliance with municipal desert conservation rules.
